Candace Edgerley is an Alexandria, Virginia artist and educator working with dyes and paints to transform white fabric into layers of color and design. Candace designs wall pieces, clothing and accessories which are sold through shows and Galleries under the label Ginkgo Designs by Candace. She also teaches surface design for textiles at the Corcoran College of Art + Design, Washington, DC and the Art League, Torpedo Factory Art Center, Alexandria, VA. Her work can be seen at Fiberworks Studio at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, Alexandria, VA. Candace currently serves as President of the Surface Design Association.
