Candace Edgerley is an Alexandria, Virginia artist and educator working with dyes and paints to transform white fabric into layers of color and design. Candace designs wall pieces, clothing and accessories which are sold through shows and Galleries under the label Ginkgo Designs by Candace. She also teaches surface design for textiles at the Corcoran College of Art + Design, Washington, DC. Her work can be seen at Fiberworks Studio and the Potomac Fiber Gallery at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, Alexandria, VA. Candace currently serves as Vice President of the Surface Design Association.
